KAMELOT Guitarist Says New Album Is '90 Percent Done'
August 11, 2004KAMELOT guitarist Thomas Youngblood has posted the following message on the group's official web site:
"Well after nearly 24 hours of travelling I am finally home in Florida. The weather in Germany could not have been better for me, hot and sunny. We are not finished completely however but we are now 90% done with the new album. We will meet this week with cover artist Derek Gores to discuss the new cover. Expect the usual fantastic work from Derek with some new ideas as well. I want to say thanks to all the great people in the Wolfsburg area, from the hotel we stayed at to the families of the studio staff that made us feel at home. Also hello to the EPICA band members who were also at Gate Studios working on their new release."
As previously reported, the follow-up to last year's "Epica" is tentatively due before the end of the year through SPV Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Pride", "Abandoned", "March of Mephisto", "Nothing Ever Dies" and "Serenade". A Japanese tour will likely take place in December, to be followed by a European trek beginning in January 2005. Studio shots can be viewed online at this location.
